I am happy and honored to introduce myself as the new Coordinator of Leader Accreditation (CLA) for LLL of New York. I’m eager to work with the Area Team and the Leaders and Leader Applicants in our Area.
Karin Ali has done a wonderful job as CLA and we will all miss her and wish her well in her new life in Texas. I am sure her talents will be appreciated in her upcoming endeavors in La Leche League.
I have been a Leader for twenty-three years, having been accredited in the summer of 1992 when my third child was an infant. I have served LLL of NY as a District Advisor (DA), and have been involved in helping plan Area Conferences. I have not been with the Leader Accreditation Department (LAD) for long, but am very much enjoying my work as an Associate Coordinator of Leader Accreditation (ACLA).
I am very much looking forward to my responsibilities as CLA and in taking a greater role in bringing new Leaders into La Leche League. The enthusiasm and knowledge these women bring are essential in keeping our wonderful organization active and vibrant, and I am honored to be entrusted with the important duty of coordinating the Leader Accreditation Department of New York. If you have any questions or concerns about the LAD, have a Leader Recommendation or application to send in, have questions about being a supporting Leader for Applicants, or have questions about working with interested mothers, please feel free to contact me.
I thank the Area Team for having confidence in my abilities. Working with this wonderful organization and the women it attracts has brought more to my life than I could have imagined. I am excited to continue that journey!
